What is Justice? What does it mean to be free? What rights should be guaranteed? This unit of study will be the first focus of study for the year as we try to develop students ability to think critically and to engage in academic discussions. We want to determine what freedoms, rights and justices students believe to be important. Throughout the unit we will investigate what it means to be free and what rights we associate with various types of freedoms and justice. In addition, we will investigate a variety of historically important documents.
